Supply Chain Delays

We have significantly increased our run-rate stock holding and forward ordering to support our partners. However, we are unable to control extended manufacturing lead times and shipping delays and we are encouraging customers to order well in advance of requirements to avoid disappointment.


We are currently receiving a large number of enquiries in relation to lead times for Zebra products. We are working closely with Zebra to improve delivery dates where possible and appreciate your patience.

Sydney Ports

Recent protected industrial action at Port Botany has now been suspended, but there remains significant impact on sea freight shipments. Furthermore, we have been advised that there is additional protected industrial action impacting on certain tug boat operations. In many cases, shipping lines are still not accepting bookings for transit to Sydney and we are currently having a large volume of product unloaded in Brisbane and then shipped to Sydney via road. Current advice is that these delays will continue for some time.

Air Freight

Many products which were previously shipped via air freight are now being shipped via sea freight. This has seen lead times extended on many products and additional charges may be applicable where transit via air freight is essential.


Accurate and detailed information is not always available, but we are endeavouring to update all ETAs as soon as we are advised. Back order reports are updated with any new ETA information overnight and available via our web portal.


COVID-19 Update

Sektor is Operational and Shipping. We remain operational and are shipping all orders and orders can still be collected from our Sydney and Perth warehouses.


All orders are now being despatched to the shipping address designated on the relevant purchase order (we no longer require additional confirmation that orders are able to be received before we release). Carriers are experiencing delays in some areas as a result of Covid restrictions impacting operations.


If you have nominated that you would like to collect goods, we will email you a confirmation when the goods are ready for collection. Please ensure that the person collecting the goods has a copy of the confirmation email before they come to our warehouse. We will record the name and car registration details of the person collecting the goods.

Collection of goods via reception is not available at this time – please proceed directly to our warehouse collection point.
