Supply Chain Delays
Over the last 12 months we have significantly increased our inventory holding whilst dealing with unprecedented demand for core items. We are placing orders well in advance of anticipated requirements (as far as 12 months ahead), however, certain of our vendors are experiencing extensive supply chain challenges resulting in protracted lead times on some products. Transit times remain inconsistent and are longer than pre-Covid in most cases.
We recommend that customers order early and well in advance of deadlines to ensure that increased demand, supply chain delays and transit times do not impact on service delivery. If your preferred configuration is not available within the required timeframe, please contact your account manager to discuss options.
Sektor is regularly updating ETAs based on the most recent advice from our vendors. ETAs are best accessed via the Sektor web portal as this data is updated daily where changes apply. The accuracy of the ETAs we provide is subject to information received from vendors. Please be mindful that these dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Most products which were previously shipped via air freight are now being shipped via sea freight. This has seen lead times extended on many products and additional charges may be applicable where transit via air freight is essential.
Globally there is significant congestion and insufficient capacity to meet demand for sea freight. We are unable to provide guarantees on transit times, but are constantly working with our forwarders to ensure minimal disruption.
Pickups from Rosehill
Our preferred option is for all orders to be shipped with our standard carriers at the moment. Where essential, we offer a contactless collection service from our Rosehill warehouse between 8.30 – 12.15 and between 12.45 – 17.00. This service is only available by arrangement and subject to receipt of confirmation email.
