The 5X80 family combines the latest CMOS industrial grade image sensor technology, illumination, and optics to create a compact, lightweight optical module capable of reading linear, stacked linear, and matrix bar codes like never before. In addition, these images can read and decode OCR fonts and capture digital images.
Support for standard serial and USB interfaces eliminates the need for hardware modifications to existing platforms in most cases. The small size and low current draw of the devices allow the modules to be integrated with minimal mechanical modifications, and 100% solid-state industrial-grade technology enables 5X80 series engines to withstand 2,500G of shock and sub-zero temperatures.
